Concept
design refers to creative part of the design, the idea,
which may be related to different areas, according to the
Anglo-Saxon meaning of design: engineered project.
The application of the concept
design, according to Code Project, reflects, updating, the
school's philosophy of "Gestalt", according to which "The
whole is more than a collection of parts." The single part,
therefore, is designed as an independent and functional unit
, and, at the same time, as part of a whole with which it
must interact.
Of course, the timing of the
design plays a key role in whether or not it has been
possible to obtain the desired performance and even change
other components.
See the example of the hearts:
through a study of the piece, screws have been eliminated
(and therefore also the threads) and the workpiece results
self-supported.
It 's the step as a prelude to
the creation of an object: what will be built on "paper"
(virtual) will be later transformed into a 3D piece. The
use of software that allows the acquisition and processing
of the customer's design, as well as the engineering
know-how, are the basis of the technical "alliance" that
develops between the client and Code
Project.
Rapid prototyping is to build, with special materials (chosen ad hoc), pieces that can then be implemented on a large scale by molding technologies or pieces (including design) for the most different sectors. (see Products page).
The acquisition of the 3D model, starting from the physical object, to copy it or to change it and then produce it, is, in a nutshell, the definition of reverse engineering. The ability to use a copy for destructive analysis or changes "live", makes this technology, coupled with rapid prototyping, a particularly useful tool in project area.
